C&rsquo;est un acteur essentiel de la fili\u00e8re bois et il se place juste apr\u00e8s le d\u00e9bardeur que l&rsquo;on appelle \u00e9galement, d\u00e9busqueur.  A l&rsquo;\u00e9poque les deux activit\u00e9s \u00e9taient souvent rassembl\u00e9es sous la m\u00eame entreprise. En se sp\u00e9cialisant elles se sont s\u00e9par\u00e9es. <\/p><p><\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Les  grumes sont ensuite transport\u00e9es \u00e0 la scierie. Il faut allier la prestation de grutier \u00e0 celle de chauffeur poids lourd, le tout en version transport exceptionnel. Il est \u00e9galement bon de conna\u00eetre la for\u00eat, ses pi\u00e8ges et ses racoins pour ne pas s&rsquo;y perdre. <\/p><p>Le mat\u00e9riel est beaucoup plus sollicit\u00e9 et mis \u00e0 rude \u00e9preuve que pour du transport routier classique . Les transports de grumes, les \u00ab\u00a0grumiers\u00a0\u00bb sont souvent des histoires familiales.  On reconnait facilement leurs camions, il y a les \u00ab\u00a0Claudel\u00a0\u00bb, les \u00ab\u00a0Rochatte\u00a0\u00bb&#8230; pour ne citer qu&rsquo;eux. <\/p><p>Des hommes  aux caract\u00e8res forts
